Payment methods

Configure the fee rate and settlement rule for each way you take payment — cash, LINE Pay, JKO Pay, bank transfer, or your own. StoreOps estimates each transaction's processing fee from these settings (it never parses platform payout statements), and the settlement rule drives when money moves from In transit to Settled.

Payment methods

Add a payment method

  1. Click Add payment method at the top right to open the dialog (Manager permission required; staff don't see this button).
  2. Enter a Code (e.g. line_pay, jkopay — alphanumeric + underscore, can't be changed later) and a Display name, then pick a Kind (Cash / Mobile payment / Credit card / Bank transfer / Other).
  3. Set the Fee rate (%) — 1% = 100 basis points; use 0 for cash / bank transfer — and an optional per-transaction Fixed fee.
  4. Choose a Settlement rule: Immediate, Fixed offset (then set Expected settlement days; payout date = transaction date + N), or Manual confirmation.
  5. Press Create.

Fees and rules apply to new transactions only: existing entries keep the amount computed when they were created. When you record a Revenue entry, its Fee auto-fills from this rate (you can still override it).

Edit or deactivate a payment method

  1. Click Edit on a row to change its rate / rule / display name, then press Save; the Code field is locked and can't be changed.
  2. To retire a method, use its toggle to deactivate it (with confirmation), or activate it again; you can also drag rows to reorder them.

A payment method can't be deleted, only deactivated — once inactive, new transactions can't select it, but existing entries are unaffected (entries reference the method by its Code).

Adding, editing, and deactivating payment methods all require Manager permission.
