Product Management

Maintain your products' name, unit price, and category. A product's name becomes the line-item name on quotations; an active product also shows up on the POS ordering menu.

Manage categories

  1. On the Products page, click Manage Categories (top right) to open the categories page.
  2. Click Add Category, enter a Name (e.g. Drinks), then Create.
  3. Drag the handle at the start of each row to reorder how categories display.

Reordering categories requires Manager permission; staff won't see the drag handles.

Deleting a category (the Delete button in its edit dialog) doesn't remove its products — they become Uncategorized.

Add / edit a product

  1. Back on the Products page, click Add on the category card you want the product in to open the dialog.
  2. Fill in Product Name and Unit Price, optionally set the Category (including Uncategorized), then Create.
  3. To change one, click the edit button on its row and Save; the delete button on the same row removes the product.

A Unit Price change only flows into quotations created afterwards; existing quotations are untouched.

Deleting a product or category requires Manager permission.

Active (on the menu)

  1. Toggle the Active switch on a product's row — it applies immediately, no dialog needed.

Only Active products appear on the POS ordering menu; switch it off and the item leaves the menu, and a tablet that still taps it is told the item is no longer available and to refresh the menu.
