Sources

Configure the source of each sale — where the money came from (on-site, your own online store, Uber Eats…). The source is one of the ledger's four axes (flow / channel / source / payment method): you pick it when recording, syncing, and importing revenue, and each source maps to a channel group that drives how reports are grouped.

New stores come seeded with a default set of sources (on-site, your online store, Uber Eats, Foodpanda, etc.), so the list is never empty to start with.

Sources

Add a source

  1. Click Add source (top right) to open the dialog.
  2. Fill in the Code (can't be changed after creation — entries reference the source by it) and the Display name.
  3. Pick a Channel groupOn-site / Online / Delivery / Wholesale — which drives report grouping.
  4. If the platform collects payment on your behalf (e.g. Uber Eats, Foodpanda), turn on Platform-collected, then Create.

Manager permission required. Staff can see the list, but Add source, the per-row Edit, and the activate toggle are disabled for them.

Edit a source

  1. Click Edit on the row to open the dialog.
  2. Change the Display name, Channel group, Platform-collected, or active state, then Save.

The Code can't be changed after creation — it's the key entries use to reference the source, so the field is disabled when editing. Manager permission required.

Activate and deactivate

  1. Toggle Active / Inactive on the row (the Status column shows the current state).
  2. Deactivating asks for confirmation; once confirmed, new transactions can no longer pick this source, while existing entries are unaffected.

There's no delete for a source — deactivate it instead: retire one you no longer use, and its history stays intact. Managers can drag rows to reorder them.
